Recently enacted legislation in New York introduces new requirements for offering third-party financing at practices located in/with locations in New York. To help you navigate these changes, Cherry has enhanced our practice portal to support your compliance.

Key Changes:

• The legislation prohibits practices from completing any portion of an application on behalf of their patients.
  • To assist patients, encourage them to select the “?” icon in the Cherry application for Help Center resources or to connect with our support team.
• Accordingly, the “Apply with Patient” feature in the Cherry desktop practice portal is no longer available for practices located in New York. This feature has also been removed from the Cherry Point of Sale mobile application.
