iSmile Dentistry is a multi-location dental group with seven offices across Utah and Arizona, offering a comprehensive range of services including general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics (including Invisalign®, traditional braces, and FastBraces®), oral surgery, periodontics, and sleep apnea treatment. iSmile has built a reputation for accessible, high-quality care across their communities. Three of their Utah locations (Kaysville, The Avenues, and Ogden) actively partner with Cherry for patient financing.
As a growing multi-location group, iSmile needed a financing solution that could scale reliably across practices and actually convert patients into treatment. Their previous experience with third-party financing had been frustrating: low approval rates, high interest rates, and complex contracts that left patients confused and, worse, left the practice looking bad. They wanted a solution with a high approval rate, a fast and simple application process, and terms that patients could genuinely trust, so that same-day treatment starts became the norm rather than the exception.
After experiencing the limitations of other financing providers firsthand, iSmile’s leadership made the switch to Cherry and never looked back. With approval rates of 90–95%, a five-minute application process, and 0% financing available for up to 24 months, Cherry removed the friction that had previously stalled treatment acceptance. Same-day treatment starts became a reality for patients who previously would have delayed or declined care due to cost.
Cherry also gave iSmile a new tool for team motivation. The ability to run Cherry applications and enroll patients in treatment the same day created a clear, measurable win for front desk and care coordinator teams, helping leadership drive engagement and accountability across all three participating locations. The Kaysville, Avenues, and Ogden locations each adopted Cherry as a core part of their financial conversation with patients.
Since their first funded loan in May 2025, iSmile’s three Cherry-enrolled locations have collectively funded 114 loans totaling $315,236 in purchase volume through April 2026. Volume has grown meaningfully over the period, with October 2025 marking a breakthrough month at $65,077 across 22 loans, and February 2026 delivering another strong month at $55,966.
COO Garrett Olson credits Cherry with driving $15,000–$20,000 per month in what he calls “pre-collections”, revenue that simply wouldn’t have materialized under their previous financing setup.
