The Goal

Lighthouse added Cherry to their clinic in April 2025 and have served over 300 clients with the help of Cherry financing. They brought on Cherry to save on merchant fees as they were getting too high with CareCredit and not many clients were getting approved. Plus, they wanted to ensure every pet got their full standard of care with higher treatment compliance rates thanks to Cherry’s high approval rate.

The Cherry Solution

We have been using Cherry since last year and achieved good results, but we wanted to utilize Cherry more especially as we launched new Ultrasound services from our Doctor. We spoke to our customer success manager at Cherry and got a training session with our whole office so everyone can begin offering Cherry first to our clients via texting the Cherry Application link and utilizing the Cherry Payment Estimate tool confidently.

Results

Within 2 weeks of this training session we surpassed our highest monthly Approval Amount (over $150,000) and increased our revenue to over $18,000; now we consistently average $20,000 in revenue with Cherry each month. Cherry makes it easy for clients to apply with their soft credit check, and we’ve been able to approve over 400 pet parents, while Cherry also helps manage our margins with lower merchant fees and high approvals for our client base. Over 300 pet parents have been helped with Cherry financing in the past year, and the Cherry Payment Estimator has been used over 100 times by our technicians to make the treatment discussion easier and promote pet’s gold standard of care from our doctors.
